It's weird. I find most people end up going to Paris at some point when they live in London just because it is so close. We never really considered going, until Thorin's family came to visit us in mid-June in London. They wanted to do a day trip to Paris. It was great to see everyone again in London for most of the week, and take a day trip to Paris. That is, read: I appreciate people treating us out to the expensive places in Europe. Insert here a quick side-glance emoji, coupled with that 'moon' emoji, ending with an emoji indicating gratitude. In all realness, they made the trip that much better.
When we travel, we don't take ourselves seriously. It's good to mix in a bit of humor with your life. That's my motto at least. So, naturally, it's great to travel with people that feel the same way about themselves. Random stuff included (in no particular order): having twerk contests on various bridges, making it down the Champs-Élysées from the Arc de Triomphe, going to the Louvre only to decide it wasn't worth going into because we were hungry (the Mona Lisa is damn small, guys), climbing down the stairs for the Eiffel Tower, cruising down the Seine, and also rushing back to the station (running) because we thought we would miss the train for London. It was fun running through security and making it to the train barely on time.
Anyway, here are the pictures. I think Finwë and Martina have more of us. But here's ours from the trip:
Credit goes to the Duffin family + Serena for making this trip fun. Credit to Paris for being Paris. J'adore yo ass Paris, BBL.
