Dear Jonathan,

Today is a special day. Not only is 4/20 the national holiday for smoking weed, but we also celebrated your union with Melody. She looked stunning in her gown. I loved catching up with all the family and friends I haven’t seen in so long. There are also new faces, it was great meeting them all. I will not forget how happy I was watching you next to Melody, and will not forget your mutual expressions of joy. Thank you, your union brought the family together, if only for a day.

Thank you for your companionship for 30 years, which taught me that friendship is the foundation of love. May you cherish Melody as a wife as you have done for me as a brother, and may you share your charisma and pillow talks with her now. Remind me to thank Melody for taking you off our hands. May you both be at the center of each other’s lives, never growing apart as is so often the case with time and distance. May you never miss out on small moments that are so often taken for granted, but are essential to make a union strong.
